 Job Title Head of Operations

 Details Key Responsibilities-
Have a vision for how to structure an effective, quality focused and efficient Jersey Operations department
Develop and communicate business strategy and roll out plans for your specific area/region of the business
Lead managers in their own area to develop a challenging climate based on teamwork, trust and meritocracy, which will create an environment where staff can achieve their full potential
Initiate and drive change initiatives to achieve significant business benefits
Liaise effectively and regularly with relevant stakeholders and develop strong working relationships with the Jersey business areas
Manage risks for a specific area of the business or a project
Represent Jersey Operations on various local governance boards and committees and be capable of communicating with C-Level executives in an effective manner

Qualifications and Experience-
An experienced Senior Manager with knowledge of Jersey Operations, or an experienced Senior Manager with a proven track record in Operations Functional Leadership and Change Management ideally gained within the Financial Services environment, or from a Blue Chip background
Capable of operating within a "matrix" environment where goals are achieved through direct management and influence of other functions where leadership and understanding of a common goal is required
Have a strong understanding of the financial products offered including an in depth understanding of product flows and behaviour and be able to articulate this to both senior and junior staff
A strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels to achieve results
Adept at achieving results in a fast paced and ever changing environment with the ability to display flexibility in your approach and the ability to work strategically within a highly complex environment
