 Job Title Banking Specialist

 Details Assist in ensuring all daily processes are completed and full functionality of banking department in maintained at all times, including :
Manage the outgoing daily group payments within Oracle & HSBCnet
Responding to complex banking queries from other areas of the business
Maintenance of foreign rates in internal systems
A contact person for the company’s banking group
Banking support for the Agent Management teams
A point of contact regarding regional compliance matters impacting Treasury
Source of expertise for the Noida Bank Reconciliation team on Accounts Receivable & Payables queries
Ensure all agents & suppliers bank details are being addressed in a timely manner & and in accordance with our internal procedures
Administration support on Banking presentations and reporting requirements
Generation of accounting journals

Assist in meeting requirements for compliance with debt facilities
Assist treasurer in supporting higher level treasury requirements, including foreign exchange trading
Support Treasurer & Group Treasury Manager in ongoing maintenance and development of bank account structure and relationships
Participation in tasks & projects as required to ensure the continued improvement of the business

Key Skills Competencies
Detailed knowledge of corporate banking processes and requirements
Previous international payments experience including SWIFT
Understanding of currency conversions and transactions
Understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk and control processes and procedures
Demonstrate awareness and appreciation of competing commercial and risk factors that impact operations, desired outputs and client relationships
Proven ability to conduct process walkthroughs, identify areas and points of risk, create documentation and flow charts that clearly, materially and accurately represent the operation
Strong relationship management and communication skills and experience
Experience of Oracle Financial Systems desirable
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Ability to work independently and under own initiative to meet high level goals
Strong attention to detail
Solutions driven approach to tasks
Comfortable working across borders with regular contact with multiple jurisdictions
Comfortable with major IT applications & computer literacy
