 Job Title Senior Investment Analyst - Intermediaries

 Details The Senior Investment Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Consulting/Intermediaries department including supervision of team members. The role also involves undertaking analysis of fund and portfolio performance and consulting, through a process of data collection, loading, verification, investigation, preparation of reports, interpretation of results and consulting at quarterly trustee review meetings.

Responsibilities include
Obtaining, loading and collating of data from various investment managers, which involves day to day contact with investment managers
Maintaining client data within the companys proprietary systems
Analysis of data outputs to provide a quantitative overlay to the reports produced
Preparation of management reports for client meetings
Quarterly meetings with clients to interpret the report findings
Dealing with day-to-day client enquiries
Providing general administration support for the directors
Occasionally providing support for general data and software queries

Reporting Line
The position reports to the Managing Director, Jersey and Head of production, Guernsey

Required Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Good management skills
Numerate and analytical
Strong attention to detail
Practical experience in financial markets, with a focus on investment portfolios
Well organised and able to manage time autonomously
Ability to communicate information clearly, both verbally and in writing
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of products, with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel
Self-motivation
Relevant Investment Qualification; preferably the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) Diploma or similar

Compliance
It is a condition of employment that all staff adhere to the Compliance processes and procedures relevant to their specific role and to the department in which they work. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering Financial Crime and Terrorist Financing (CFT) training will be provided to those staff involved in Controlled Investment Business, on a biennial or more frequent basis.
